I’m pleased to announce that I’ll be offering a microcredential course on affordable housing through Cape Breton University. Former Dean of Business George Karaphillis has designed an affordable housing series for people who work in the housing industry or would like to learn more about the topic. These microcourses are short (12 hours, usually 4 lectures), convenient (online), have no pre-requisites, and are affordable (just $240+HST).
CBU has a long history of community development and has learned that there is a great need for capacity building in the housing sector–we know that particularly in the non-profit and co-operative sector, and among our thousands of students, there’s a great interest in this type of training.
